Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant will assist in the oversight and planning of the Mentoring Team’s ministry. It will be his or her priority to ensure accurate documentation and communication of meeting notes and action steps. He or she will also mentor as an online missionary and be involved in mentor recruitment. To learn more about Digital Strategies, visit p2cdigital.com.
Primary Objectives:
Provide quality and efficient administrative support to the mentoring team
Complete invoicing and liaise with clients to review and share stories and statistics
Assists the Director of Mentor Recruitment and Development with financial record-keeping and management as well as booking travel and tracking schedule as needed
Coordinate and help run team meetings efficiently, ensuring accurate and up-to-date minutes
Grow our team of online mentors by supporting our leaders
Collaborate with the Content Strategist and Director of Mentor Recruitment and Development to ensure teams are aware of current needs
In collaboration with Marketing, track the status of mentor recruitment advertising and promotions
Ensure that a specific need-based promotions are taking place to find additional mentors
Ensure marketing and promotional materials are being developed and utilized
Be involved as an online missionary
Become an online mentor and consider becoming a Mentor Coach to understand and experience the heart of Digital Strategies’ ministry
Education and Experience
Completion of some post-secondary education in administration or a related field, or
At least one year working in an administrative role
Required Skills & Abilities
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel) and G-Suite
Ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to learn web technologies and applications quickly
Organization and Planning: uses resources effectively and efficiently
Uses time effectively and efficiently, focusing on key priorities
Other Requirements
A growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a pre-existing belief and demonstration of lifestyle as outlined in the P2C Code of Conduct and Statement of Faith and abide by the biblical principles outlined in these documents
Funding
This position requires Ministry Partner Development. The successful candidate will have the privilege to build a partnership team which provides financial and prayer support for the ministry. The financial support will cover the costs of the candidate’s salary and ministry expenses. Power to Change believes that Ministry Partner Development is biblical and God will provide everything necessary to fulfill the calling into ministry: finances, emotional strength and perseverance. Building a ministry partnership team is an integral part of being in ministry. There are many opportunities to bless and encourage the partnership team. Power to Change is committed to providing training and coaching that ensures success in Ministry Partner Development.
