Position Overview
Serving as part of the P2C Prayer Leadership Team, the Administrative Assistant provides an elevated level of administrative support according to the needs of the National Prayer Igniter, who also serves as the Regional Representative for North America and Oceania (NAO) on the Global Prayer Council of Cru.
Reporting directly to the National Prayer Igniter, the Administrative Assistant will maintain a professional demeanor as they communicate with staff and external partners. This position requires initiative, problem-solving, and project leadership—the successful candidate will not only support prayer initiatives but will also proactively plan, execute, and improve them. The role offers flexibility in work hours while requiring consistent engagement in key responsibilities.
Role Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible to achieve the following objectives:
Provide confidential and high-level administrative support to the National Prayer Igniter, including prayer support
Provide comprehensive calendar and email management as well as travel arrangements for the National Prayer Igniter with efficiency and foresight
General admin support for the P2C Prayer Leadership Team as well as all P2C and NAO prayer initiatives, including but not limited to:
Annual month of prayer and fasting
Bi-annual WWDP
Staff Conference prayer
Transformational prayer training
Monthly prayer-focus chapels
Oversee content collection and communication of monthly prayer updates with prayer igniters and intercessor teams
Develop a monthly plan for updates to National Prayer Igniter’s supporters, ensuring consistent engagement, follow-up, and execution of the plan
Process and review reimbursements for prayer-related activities.
Provide support for tracking and managing the P2C Prayer budget and the Global Prayer Council budget
Investigate new tools, approaches, and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of prayer initiatives.

You possess strong interpersonal skills - emotionally mature, intuitive, good at active listening
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
You have the ability to juggle of variety of projects and tasks at the same time
You are resourceful and an initiative taker who will see problems and help provide solutions
You are proficient in Google Suite or equivalent
You are personally organized, and a good steward of time
You are self-motivated, a team builder and able to work independently
You are available to travel (within Canada) if needed, likely no more than 1-2 times per year.

Bilingual
Worship leader
Education and Experience
University degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Project management experience and proven experience to execute considered an asset
Experience leading a team in either a ministry or business context
