Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Creative Projects Assistant to support our Creative Services team in delivering high-quality projects and content. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on getting things done, loves learning new technologies, and has a knack for storytelling and design through various media. You will play a critical role in keeping projects organized, assisting with creative production and post-production, and helping us adopt innovative tools like AI to enhance our work.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for achieving the following objectives:
1. Projects are Delivered with Excellence and Efficiency
Ensure creative projects are executed with attention to detail and adherence to brand standards and the creative brief.
Maintain organized workflows to track and complete projects efficiently, working with various stakeholders.
Prepare materials and equipment for creative initiatives, events, and video productions.
Provide hands-on technical support for in-person and/or live streaming events and video production projects, ensuring smooth coordination and content capture.
Help to organize and manage creative assets (ensure proper filing and digital storage)
2. High-Quality Creative Content and Storytelling are Produced
Edit and produce engaging video content that aligns with organizational goals and storytelling efforts.
Provide creative input/ideas to help bring stories to life through video production and post-production.
Operate cameras and audio/video equipment effectively during larger video projects and events.
Transform ministry story submissions into compelling, shareable formats to inspire and engage audiences.
Design visually appealing content and templates using Canva to support ministry needs.
3. Innovation and Technology Drive Team Efficiency
Lead the adoption of innovative technologies, including AI, to enhance team workflows and creative outputs.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations for integrating new tools and solutions into existing processes.
Ensure the Mailchimp system is optimized to support communications and campaigns
Other Responsibilities
Active participation in weekly chapel services and other ministry prayer / bible study times.
Attendance and participation in the bi-annual Worldwide Day of Prayer.
Able to lift and carry up to 30lbs (e.g. videography equipment).
Other roles and responsibilities may be assigned to support the team in achieving overall annual objectives.

You are service-focused, responding promptly, thoroughly, and accurately to requests and inquiries
Education and Experience
5+ years of education or related experience in video production and editing
Proficient with Google Suite
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and DaVinci Resolve
Proficient with digital video equipment
Experience with photography and photo editing is an asset
Experience using Monday.com is an asset
Experience in digital graphic design is an asset
Experience working across multiple projects at a time is an asset
Experience working in a non-profit ministry environment is an asset
