Position Overview
Coordinate a weekly Addiction Recovery Ministry meeting that will help set individuals free from their life threatening addictions. Meet with ARM ministry leaders on an ongoing basis to train in management skills, effective evangelism and discipleship skills in the context of this ministry. There is an intentional reproduction plan to equip leaders to start an Addiction Recovery Ministry in churches.
Primary Objectives
Ensure the Development of Addiction Recovery Ministry (ARM) by coaching leadership and providing strong administrative support and infrastructure
Ensure leaders are cared for and regularly trained and well resourced
Work with and mentor the leadership team of ARM
Assist with training and leadership development
Represent CS and ARM vision well
Speak at events to share vision, testimony and gospel
Pray for and connect possible ARM leadership/staff with CS Director

Designing workshop curriculum
Good communications skills to teach and coach both groups and individuals
Facilitate small groups
Education and Experience
Undergraduate degree/diploma or management experience
Working with teams
Working with volunteers
Familiar with evangelism and discipleship curriculum and principles of Power to Change
Strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Preferred Skills and Abilities
Team Building & equipping
Coordinating the agenda and scheduling the appointments and meetings with participants
Imparting practical spiritual truths
Other Requirements
A growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a pre-existing belief and demonstration of lifestyle as outlined in the P2C Code of Conduct and Statement of Faith and abide by the biblical principles outlined in these documents
Funding
This position requires Ministry Partner Development where the successful candidate will be required to build a team which provides financial and prayer support for salary and ministry expenses including benefits coverage.
