Position Overview
The WFLI Administrator plays a critical role in the day-to-day management of the Water for Life Initiative and provides administrative support to the Water for Life Initiative (WFLI) and GAiN Operations teams. This role encompasses a variety of tasks, including administrating team meetings, monitoring program activities (including information workflow), preparing monthly and quarterly reporting as well as supporting the overall head office and operations of GAiN. This position requires strong administrative and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently as part of a broader team.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible to achieve the following objectives:
Water for Life Initiative Team Support:
Program workflow is monitored and reported to appropriate Program staff for follow-up and resolution
Monthly and quarterly statistics are accurately reviewed and reported in the mWater and GAiN Well database systems (specific to WFLI countries)
Serve as Subject Matter Expert for mWater data collection platform, including creation, editing and approval of surveys
WFLI team meetings are managed effectively with accurate minutes reflecting action points and next steps
WFLI Country Meetings (with Benin, Togo and Tanzania) are scheduled and led effectively, including assigning minute-taking
In-country projects are administered through timely reporting to the Project Manager
Quarterly review of WFLI database to ensure data integrity and reporting consistency
Ensure that Quarterly Learning Briefs are collected and disseminated to GAiN team members
WFLI Administrative support as needed
WFLI field receipts are checked and filed
Other duties could be assigned on a temporary or ongoing basis according to ministry needs.

Education and Experience
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
Demonstrates maturity in a dynamic environment where priorities can change
Not afraid to ask questions when instructions or work is unclear
Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
Experience working with Windows and Google-based systems and processes
An undergrad degree in International Development would be an asset
Job or comparable experience in the international development space is an asset
