Ministry of Jacob and Karyn Hawthorne
The Hawthorne’s with their 3 children have been faithfully serving in Quebec in various organizations through Athletes in Action both in French and English settings. Across Quebec they oversee Athlete Campus ministries at Bishop’s University (Sherbrooke,) Concordia University, McGill University, and Université de Montréal (all three in Montreal). Helping students run Bible studies with their teammates and peers from other teams. Serving the sporting communities with a space to learn more about how a follower of Jesus can be an athlete who praises Jesus and have their identity in the King who loves them. Jake also serves as a CFL Chaplain for the Montreal Alouettes. Where he helps professional athletes grow deeper in their faith with Jesus and learn how to use their platform and gifting a to impact others as a role model and fellow believer in Jesus.
