Ministry of Rachel Cook
My passion for ministry began over 15 years ago as a student athlete playing soccer and wrestling in Calgary, Canada. From there I have been called to take on a multitude of roles including a one year STINT overseas in South Africa, time in HR and working in every division of Athletes in Action in Canada. My adaptability and willingness has been used by God to help navigate seasons of uncertainty and to fill roles until the right long term candidate was found. This has equipped me for the next season of ministry which is starting now! My two key roles involve performing team administrative roles for our National Pro Ministry Director Rodd Sawatzky, freeing him to do more of what he is gifted in. Helping people know Jesus and experiencing his Power to transform them and the world around them. I also help bring leadership to our Global Ministry which continues a deep passion for cross cultural ministry, leading 1-2 trips a year and ongoing care for some of our international partners. I are so excited to take these steps into the next season! And I deeply appreciate you considering joining us along the way!
