Ministry of Darren and Wendy Young
It was through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, as a university student, that God deepened my love for Jesus and spoke to me a life of ministry. It was then, during my first week on staff with Campus Crusade, that I met Wendy, and we began a life of serving Jesus together. We served eight years with Campus Crusade for Christ, before pastoring for 13 years, and then investing several years in helping churches collaborate and innovate. Then, in 2021, God led us back ‘home’ to Power to Change (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ, Canada). We cannot begin to describe to you what this means to us. The heartbeat of Power to Change is to help people know Jesus, and to equip and send everyday Christians into every domain of society to see Canada and the world changed with the love of Jesus. Students. Athletes. Families. Leaders. The Disadvantaged. Online. And more. I have the privilege of leading and serving as President of Power to Change. Wendy serves with me, coordinating initiatives and events across Power to Change. We cherish the opportunity to live as missionaries, and we thank God for your prayers and financial support in making it possible. Our deep burden - in helping people know Jesus - is that our ministry would be an extension of those we love and those that have loved us in our journey.
