Michael Horner has been passionately sharing the gospel and presenting a reasonable case for the Christian faith on university campuses around the world for 50 years with Power to Change. He has participated in over 80 public debates & dialogues, delivered hundreds of lectures, and hosted Q & A with thousands of students. He holds a graduate degree in Philosophy from the U of Toronto and for twenty years helped shape the worldview of Christian students as an instructor in philosophy and ethical issues at Trinity Western University and Summit Pacific College. Mr. Horner is a contributing author to the recent book Everyday Apologetics and has numerous articles and videos online at The Life.com and YouTube. Michael also loves playing and coaching basketball. Having played for the U of Calgary back in the day, he has also coached young men at Trinity Western University, Columbia Bible College, several high schools, and numerous summer camps and clubs. Unable to play the game he loves anymore, he has found a replacement for his fitness and competitive needs in the sport of pickleball! Michael is married to Phyllis – and their children, Sean, Stephanie and Daniel have provided 7 wonderful grandchildren to love and spoil, all living nearby in Abbotsford. Dr. Paul Chamberlain, Director of the Institute for Apologetics at TWU commends Mr. Horner to us: “Michael Horner’s wide experience of lecturing and debating around the world has made him one of today’s highly respected Christian apologists. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you will benefit greatly from his material.”
