Power to Change (P2C) seeks to help people know Jesus and experience His power to change the world. Connecting Streams equips and mobilizes the Church to help society’s vulnerable populations know Jesus and experience His power to change the world. Through partnerships and teams, we build trusting relationships that foster faith and hope.
Position Overview
The City Leader oversees the ministry of Connecting Streams in a particular city and surrounding area, seeking to expand the collective impact of CS in that region..
Primary Objectives:
City Team Leader - 50%
Build a cohesive identity among CS staff and volunteers in a city (includes but not limited to team-building initiatives, active communication, conflict resolution, and promotion of CS brand values and identity)
Lead city staff team in strategic planning and collaborative activity.
Oversee City operations including volunteer processing, communications (within CS and through external channels), prayer initiation, and staff support.
Attend all local meetings, CS Training, and Celebration events
City Impact Development - 50%
Develop and implement new strategies and avenues for CS to expand its impact across the city (in coordination with the National Director, National Stream Leads and Executive Team).
Initiate and cultivate connections and relationships with leaders of churches and organizations to expand the reach of CS and positively impact the city.
Articulate CS ministry vision to other leaders in the city.
Represent and promote CS at local city-wide events.
Develop, engage, and maintain financial partners to support the city ministry.
Speak, teach, and conduct workshops on mobilizing people for evangelism and discipleship as opportunities arise.

A deep, growing, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ
A genuine desire to see people’s lives transformed by Jesus
Strong leadership and management skills
Strong networking skills especially among Churches and other Christian Organizations
Ability to manage systems and oversee operations
Strong interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, team builder, able to work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to use Google Suite or equivalent
Administrative skills, personally organized, good steward of time
Education and Experience:
5+ years of ministry or related experience
Experience in leading teams and carrying out strategic plans
