Ministry Overview
P2C-Students builds communities in Canada where life transformation happens among post-secondary students, whether in-person or online. We want to see students taking steps toward Jesus and finding life in him. As a Christian non-profit organization, we run giving campaigns to fund all of our initiatives.
Position Overview
The Communications and Donor Engagement Coordinator will support the mission of P2C–Students by looking after the donor engagement and ensuring that annual giving campaigns are clear, compelling and aligned to our mission, while developing core skills in nonprofit communications and fundraising through structured training and mentorship.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible to achieve the following objectives:
Marketing and Communications
Coordinate and execute donor-facing communications across print and digital channels
Support the development and production of fundraising appeals, emails, reports, and related materials
Use AI tools to draft, adapt, and refine copy for donor communications under strategic direction
Ensure messaging is clear, donor-centered, and aligned with P2C-Students’ mission and voice
Maintain consistency and quality across all annual giving communications
Fundraising & Donor Engagement
Successfully execute all core annual giving campaigns, including:
Back-to-School (August)
Year-End / Christmas Campaign
Spring Campaign
Annual Report (June)
Support occasional smaller digital-only fundraising initiatives throughout the year
Work with donor data to support segmentation and campaign execution
Track and summarize campaign performance, including key results and learnings
Apply insights from past campaigns to improve future donor engagement
Administration & Team Support
Own and manage the annual giving calendar and campaign timelines
Coordinate with internal team members and external vendors (designers, printers, mail houses)
Ensure deadlines are met and materials are accurate and complete
Maintain clear documentation of workflows, timelines, and campaign processes
Provide administrative and coordination support related to annual giving initiatives
Other Responsibilities
Active participation in weekly chapel services and other ministry prayer / bible study times.
Attendance and participation in the bi-annual International Day of Prayer.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., communications, marketing, business, nonprofit studies)
Early-career professional or recent graduate welcome
Experience with social media platforms, digital tools, or content creation is considered an asset
Experience in project management, communications, marketing, or fundraising is an asset but not required
Familiarity with donor communications or nonprofit environments is helpful but not essential
