The Opportunity
Power to Change is at a defining moment.
As we step more fully into our calling to fuel the next generation of evangelism, the ability to discern, catalyse, and scale new expressions of mission will be critical to realizing our vision. The Director, Catalytic plays a central role in that future.
This is not a traditional operational leadership role. It is a catalytic mandate to identify and advance high-impact opportunities that mobilize 10,000+ Communities on Mission across Canada and beyond.
This leader operates at the intersection of vision, relationships, and execution—discerning where God is moving, mobilizing others toward it, and helping translate emerging ideas into initiatives that can grow, multiply, and endure.
The Director will:
Identify and prioritize high-leverage opportunities for mission growth
Cultivate strategic partnerships that extend reach and influence
Champion disciplined innovation across the organization
Guide initiatives from ideation through to execution and multiplication
This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of evangelistic movement in Canada—by unlocking what does not yet exist.
About Power to Change
Power to Change’s vision is to be a Hub of Evangelism for the next generation—catalysing 10,000+ Communities on Mission across Canada and to the world over the next 5+ years.
This vision builds on a core mission that has remained unchanged since our earliest days: to catalyse, equip, and support communities of believers to live on mission and make Jesus known—especially among those the body of Christ is not currently reaching.
For nearly 60 years, Power to Change has been a catalytic force for evangelism in Canada. Today, we engage across five key mission contexts—students, sport, leaders, families, and global—supported by catalytic expressions that enable innovation and new models of mission.
We are a national movement of over 450 staff, mobilising thousands of believers, and stewarding an annual budget of nearly $40 million.
What lies ahead will require a renewed vision and bold rethinking of how we mobilize the body of Christ to God’s mission—fueling a movement that is multiplying, Spirit-led, and reaching far beyond our current impact.
Leadership
Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the Director serves on a national leadership team comprised of the leaders of Power to Change’s core mission contexts, contributing to the advancement of the organization’s overall mission through shared vision, strategy, and execution.
This includes:
Contributing to national innovation, discernment and organizational priorities
Identifying and advancing high-impact opportunities aligned with P2C’s vision
Strengthening alignment and collaboration across mission contexts and initiatives
Representing Power to Change in key national conversations and partnerships
This role carries both national leadership responsibility and catalytic influence.
The Mandate
Flowing from this national leadership responsibility, the Director of Catalytic leads the innovation, development, and advancement of high-impact initiatives that accelerate Power to Change’s effectiveness as a Hub of Evangelism.
This work centres on four interconnected priorities:
Strategic Innovation & Direction
Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities that advance the vision of catalysing 10,000+ Communities on Mission—establishing clear criteria for experimentation, scaling, and integration, and providing strategic insight to senior leadership.
Innovation & Movement Development
Champion a culture of courageous, disciplined experimentation—encouraging and refining emerging ideas, and guiding decisions to advance, adapt, scale, or conclude initiatives based on impact and alignment.
Partnership & Ecosystem Development
Cultivate strategic relationships with churches, networks, and national partners—expanding distribution pathways and strengthening the ecosystem required for Communities on Mission to flourish across diverse contexts.
Organizational Integration & Stewardship
Ensure catalytic initiatives are aligned with the strengths and direction of existing ministries—supporting execution through project leadership, stewarding key resources, and strengthening systems that enable clarity, sustainability, and multiplication.

A strengthened culture of disciplined innovation across Power to Change
Strategic partnerships and distribution pathways that significantly extend national evangelistic reach
Increased organizational clarity and coherence, with ministries experiencing catalytic work as strengthening—not fragmenting—the whole

A collaborative and externally minded leader, able to build strategic alliances and partnerships that accelerate innovation, expand reach, and amplify mission impact.
Relationally wise and trusted across diverse leaders, ministries, and partners
