Position Overview
The Head Mentor Coach oversees all Mentor Coaches providing discipleship, vision, training and encouragement. This role works closely with the Mentor Program Coordinator to develop the overall Mentor Coach training and communication strategy. To learn more about Digital Strategies, visit p2cdigital.com.
Primary Objectives:
Mentor Coaches feel supported, receive good communication, and have ongoing accountability (70%).
Connects regularly with Mentor Coaches for support, encouragement and prayer
Holds Mentor Coaches accountable to their role of developing and supporting Mentors
Works with Mentor Program Coordinator to develop and deliver a communication strategy that further assists and equips the Mentor Coaches while helping them feel connected to the greater whole of the ministry.
Engage in Strategy Development as a Team Player (10%)
Collaborate with Mentoring Director and Team to develop, execute and scale mentor recruitment strategy for 5000 mentors by the end of 2020.
Work with Mentor Coaches to assess, promote and recruit practiced Mentors to Mentor Coaches.
Strategize with the Mentoring Team about Mentor Coach and Mentor retention, spiritual care, development, career path opportunities and processes for Mentors.
Ensure that marketing and promotional materials are accessible for Mentor Coaches to help promote opportunities.
Personal Mentoring (10%)
Become an online Mentor and eventually a Mentor Coach to understand and experience the heart of our Digital Strategy ministry.
Education and Experience
All of the following would be an asset:
Post secondary degree
Experience communicating with a variety of people.
Experience working with the public.
Experience coordinating projects and assessing effectiveness towards reaching goals.
Experience in evangelism, discipleship, mentoring and coaching.
Experience working remotely.
Required Skills & Abilities

Ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to learn web technologies and applications quickly
Ability to connect well with people
Skills in discipleship, mentoring, conflict resolution and pastoral care
Experience as a Mentor and Mentor Coach with P2C Digital Strategies

A growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a pre-existing belief and demonstration of lifestyle as outlined in the P2C Code of Conduct and Statement of Faith and abide by the biblical principles outlined in these documents
Funding
This position requires Ministry Partner Development. The successful candidate will have the privilege to build a partnership team which provides financial and prayer support for the ministry. The financial support will cover the costs of the candidate’s salary and ministry expenses. Power to Change believes that Ministry Partner Development is biblical and God will provide everything necessary to fulfill the calling into ministry: finances, emotional strength and perseverance. Building a ministry partnership team is an integral part of being in ministry. There are many opportunities to bless and encourage the partnership team. Power to Change is committed to providing training and coaching that ensures success in Ministry Partner Development.
