Position Overview
This position will provide Information Technology expertise within the Water for Life Initiative (WFLI) by supporting our Programs and In-Country Teams through IT systems, technology and applications.
This position will work continually to improve our IT tools, processes and training, and provide application support to field team members as needed. This role will also be an organizational Key User in the mWater data gathering platform.
About the Role
In this role as the IT Project Manager, you will be responsible to achieve the following objectives:
mWater Specialist (45%):
Ensures the mWater data collection platform is continually optimized through training and experience
Training on mWater Surveyor app and online Portal provided to staff
Become a Super-User for the mWater platform, providing support with mWater issues and questions to all stakeholders
Regular data cleaning and validation processes managed in coordination with other WFLI staff
Business process in data collection, monitoring, and evaluation among field staff is regularly evaluated and optimization opportunities identified
IT Generalist (45%):
Support is given to field users in OKTA/Google.
WFLI Well Database is maintained and data integrity is safeguarded, in collaboration with the Project Associate
Training is provided on IT security best-practices
Best-in-breed IT structure is continually researched
Manages relationships with key stakeholders, including P2C IT for matters WFLI-specific
Other Responsibilities (10%):
Active participation in weekly chapel services and GAiN prayer time
Attendance and participation in the bi-annual International Day of Prayer
Participate in GAiN staff meetings, Water for Life team meetings, etc.
Support other GAiN teams and initiatives, as required
Other duties may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as ministry needs evolve.

This position requires Ministry Partner Development. The successful candidate will have the privilege to build a partnership team which provides financial and prayer support for the ministry. The financial support will cover the costs of the candidate’s salary and ministry expenses. Power to Change believes that Ministry Partner Development is biblical and God will provide everything necessary to fulfill the calling into ministry: finances, emotional strength and perseverance.
