Ministry Overview

Connecting Streams equips and mobilizes the Church to help society’s vulnerable populations know Jesus and experience His power to change the world. Through partnerships and teams, we build trusting relationships that foster faith and hope.
Position Overview:
Collaborate with Streams to develop their Signature Ministry Resource.
In collaboration with the National CS Operations Team, develop a Team Leader comprehensive training.
Gain a thorough understanding of the six CS streams, and their current resources and training.
Create a comprehensive and organized training curriculum that includes all essential information.
Partner with staff and Stream leads to design a training program for churches/volunteers.
Oversee the production of training videos, including scripting and filming.
Pilot the training course with a group of new churches and leaders, making any necessary adjustments based on team feedback.
Assist in training team leaders through in-person sessions, online platforms, or via Engage Spaces.
Primary Objectives:
Support Team Members
Meet regularly with the National Stream Leads to gain insights into their ministry areas.
Participate in relevant CS training sessions, celebration events, and meetings related to the ministry.
Make a habit of intentionally praying for your team on a regular basis.
Curriculum Development
As needed,collaborate with the National Stream Leader to strategize and develop Signature Ministry Resources, focusing on priorities and opportunities for new ministries, training, and tools.
Create a comprehensive Team Leader training with the assistance of National Office and stream leaders.
Build a curriculum that serves as a resource for promoting and equipping our churches.
Conduct ongoing evaluations of the curriculum and Ministry Tools.
Work with staff and Stream leads to design training for team leaders, ensuring the program is comprehensive, organized, and covers all essential information.
Develop a solid understanding of the six CS streams, current resources and ministries, and existing church partnership agreements.
Pilot the training course with a group of new churches and leaders, making necessary edits based on team feedback.
Oversee the production of training videos, including scripting and filming.
Assist in training team leaders through in-person sessions, online platforms, or via Engage Spaces.
Ministry Staff/Volunteer Support Development
Meet regularly with the National Stream Leads to understand and develop their Signature Ministry Resources including curriculum tools.
Required Skills & Abilities
A deep, growing, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to use Google Suite or equivalent
Administrative skills, personally organized, good steward of time
Self-motivated, team builder, able to work independently
A genuine desire to see people’s lives transformed by Jesus
Skill in leading people spiritually regardless of spiritual context
Ability to relate well with Churches and other Christian organizations
Education and Experience
Experience in curriculum design or instructional design, including writing and implementing curricula.
Possible teaching experience or corporate training is a plus
Possible instructional design tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, LMS platforms).
This position requires Ministry Partner Development where the successful candidate will be required to build a team which provides financial and prayer support for salary and ministry expenses including benefits coverage.
OR
Where the candidate is able to be financially independent, they may volunteer for this position with the expectation that they will serve as associate staff (minimum 25 hours).
