Ministry Overview
The Strategy and Operations team empower missional communities within P2C-S to clearly define and collaboratively reach our goals by designing, building, and managing tools and systems.
Position Overview
This role is for an experienced web developer who is responsible for the code maintenance and development of p2cstudents.com and serving P2C-Students ministry departments by continually improving the site through new features, bug fixes, and improving user experience. This part-time role can be combined with other part-time roles within Power to Change.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible to achieve the following objectives:
Website Development and Maintenance
Using the Laravel framework, create functional and appealing websites and adjoining services or applications. Requires experience with PHP, client-side JS, HTML, CSS and Laravel.
Collaborate with in-house designers to translate visuals and wireframes into code, ensuring an intuitive user experience on various platforms and devices.
Employ a Git workflow that permits collaboration with other developers or maintainers.
Provide timely security and version updates.
Conduct thorough testing before code deployment.
Maintain technical documentation and user-facing guides for all products and relevant components.
Other Responsibilities
Actively participate in weekly chapel services and other ministry prayer / bible study times.
Attend and participate in the bi-annual International Day of Prayer.
Special projects as assigned by P2C-S Strategy and Operations National Director

You have successfully completed websites and applications used by clients
You are comfortable using online communication tools such as Google Meet, Zoom and other productivity tools
Education and Experience
Bachelor degree in related field plus 2 years of office experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with working on and deploying successful websites and applications using the Laravel framework, PHP, client-side JS, HTML, and CSS

This position requires Ministry Partner Development. The successful candidate will have the privilege to build a partnership team which provides financial and prayer support for the ministry. The financial support will cover the costs of the candidate’s salary and ministry expenses. Power to Change believes that Ministry Partner Development is biblical and God will provide everything necessary to fulfill the calling into ministry: finances, emotional strength and perseverance. Building a ministry partnership team is an integral part of being in ministry. There are many opportunities to bless and encourage the partnership team. Power to Change is committed to providing training and coaching that ensures success in Ministry Partner Development.
