The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Program Manager who can help turn vision into action as we grow as a Hub of Evangelism.
This role sits at the intersection of project management, product thinking, and technology. It is ideal for someone who can take emerging ideas, give them structure, and move them from concept to real-world impact.
You’ll coordinate a portfolio of initiatives—experiments, pilots, product builds, and partnerships—that advance our goal of mobilising 10,000+ Communities on Mission. This is a hands-on, collaborative role. You won’t just track timelines; you’ll help shape what gets built, how it’s tested, and what we learn from it.
What You’ll Do
Plan and Drive Initiatives Forward
Own the lifecycle of Hub initiatives—from scoping and planning through execution and evaluation. Build clear timelines, define milestones, and keep teams aligned so work moves at the pace the mission requires.
Bring Product Thinking to the Work
Help shape what we build and how we test it. Coordinate product development efforts (e.g., a P2C evangelism podcast, digital resources, partner-facing tools) by managing vendors, defining deliverables, and ensuring we’re building things people actually use.
Run Experiments and Capture Learning
Project manage evangelism experiments and proof-of-concept pilots with churches, alumni, ministries, and strategic partners. Define scope, success criteria, and evaluation frameworks, then synthesize and share learnings so the organization grows smarter with each cycle.
Strengthen Systems and Execution
Identify and implement practical tools—including AI and automation—to improve workflow, track progress, and share knowledge across teams. Maintain systems such as CRM records, dashboards, and project tracking to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Connect People, Teams, and Partners
Coordinate across ministries, partners, and external platforms (e.g., The Pastorate, Alpha, Gloo) to create shared ownership and expand reach. Keep communication clear so staff and partners understand what’s happening and how to engage.
What Success Looks Like (First 12–18 Months)
Hub initiatives are well planned, clearly communicated, and delivered on time—or intentionally re-scoped with clear rationale.
A healthy pipeline of experiments is underway: a podcast is producing content, an inaugural ventures pilot is in progress, and 2–4 resources or strategies are being tested with churches and partners.
Learnings from experiments and events are consistently captured and shared, leading to clear decisions about what to stop, adapt, or scale.
Ministries and staff have visibility into Hub initiatives and are actively participating.
Partnership and distribution pathways are organised and activated.
Who You Are
You have 3–5+ years of experience in project management, product coordination, or a related field.
You think in systems but work well with people, bringing structure without slowing things down.
You are comfortable with technology, including project management tools, CRMs, AI tools, and digital platforms.
You communicate clearly, both written and verbal, and are confident coordinating across teams, vendors, and external partners.
You have a track record of delivery—bringing projects from ideation to launch, whether that’s a product, campaign, event, or pilot program.
Ministry or mission-focused experience is an asset, but not required. What matters most is that you care about the mission and want to contribute to it.
Key Qualities
Humble: Trustworthy, servant-hearted, and comfortable working behind the scenes.
Hungry: Proactive, self-starting, and committed to follow-through.
Smart: Relationally intuitive, solutions-oriented, and able to read a room.
