Power to Change Digital Strategies (P2C DS)’ mission is to equip Christians as digital missionaries to compassionately share the Gospel with strangers online, across the street and around the world.
Position Overview
The Social Media Intern will work closely with the Director of Communications to develop and implement a social media strategy. He/she will be responsible for understanding the target audiences’ interests and engaging them.
About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible to achieve the following objectives:
Increase P2C DS’ brand awareness
Create engaging content for social media platforms to increase online presence
Monitor and engage on social media platforms on behalf of P2C DS
Collaborate effectively with team members
Communicate with Director of Communications on a weekly basis
Brainstorm and contribute ideas to improve social media strategy

You seek feedback from your peers and are open-minded to trying new ideas
You are self-motivated and able to work independently
You are a quick learner and exhibit strong skills in problem-solving
Education and Experience
Experience using popular social media platforms, such as Instagram and Facebook
Experience with G Suite
Experience with graphic design
Experience with copywriting is an asset
Funding
This position requires Ministry Partner Development. The successful candidate will have the privilege to build a partnership team which provides financial and prayer support for the ministry. The financial support will cover the costs of the candidate’s salary and ministry expenses. Power to Change believes that Ministry Partner Development is biblical and God will provide everything necessary to fulfill the calling into ministry: finances, emotional strength and perseverance. Building a ministry partnership team is an integral part of being in ministry. There are many opportunities to bless and encourage the partnership team. Power to Change is committed to providing training and coaching that ensures success in Ministry Partner Development.
