Position Overview
The position of Video Team Specialist is responsible for helping students to know Jesus and to live for Him by shaping culture, producing innovative resources, and designing experiences where life-change happens. Video Team Specialists participate in making artistic and inspiring content to be used for evangelism, training, student and donor engagement, and promoting events and opportunities within P2C-S.
Primary Objectives
This role will be held accountable to achieving the following objectives:
The quality of online offerings to communicate P2C-S vision, values, and opportunities is increasing
The quantity of online offerings to communicate P2C-S vision, values, and opportunities is increasing (in proportion to team size)
Promotional content for conferences, mission trips, and P2C-S in general is resulting in more students being involved and connected
Materials are created to meet training needs for involved students
Evangelistic materials are drawing in an audience of non-Christian students and fostering meaningful engagement with the Gospel
There is an increased donor engagement through sharing stories about the impact that P2C-S has on and off campus
Video content is contributing to the purposes, goals and themes of the wider Creative Communications Team
Required Skills & Abilities
Working knowledge of at least:
Premier Pro, or similar
Adobe Audition, or similar
Camera operation, audio recording, lighting techniques, framing, and cinematography principles (basic understanding of all and proficiency in some is required)
It would be helpful to know
After Effects
Other Adobe software is an asset
Familiarity with Sony DSLRs is an asset
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with supervisor, coworkers, and with clients
Ability to create original and compelling pieces
Willingness to learn new video production skills and techniques
Be able to positively receive feedback and take direction
Can work well on a team and collaborate with others
Familiarity with Google Workspace is an asset
Education and Experience
Post-secondary degree or diploma
Experience in the field

A growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a pre-existing belief and demonstration of lifestyle as outlined in the P2C Code of Conduct and Statement of Faith and abide by the biblical principles outlined in these documents.
Funding
This position requires Ministry Partner Development. The successful candidate will have the privilege to build a partnership team which provides financial and prayer support for the ministry. The financial support will cover the costs of the candidate’s salary and ministry expenses. Power to Change believes that Ministry Partner Development is biblical and God will provide everything necessary to fulfill the calling into ministry: finances, emotional strength and perseverance. Building a ministry partnership team is an integral part of being in ministry. There are many opportunities to bless and encourage the partnership team. Power to Change is committed to providing training and coaching that ensures success in Ministry Partner Development.
