*This position requires Ministry Partner Development where the successful candidate will be required to build a team which provides financial and prayer support for salary and ministry expenses including benefits coverage.

The AIA HUB Director will work to fulfill the mission of Athletes in Action by assisting the Regional Director in the implementation of Action Camps, Action Clubs and other community based sports initiatives within Grand Prairie HUB and the surrounding areas. A HUB is a specific geographic area in which several camp and/or club programs are located. They are to assist in the areas of: the maintaining and tracking of relationships with local churches, community sports groups, program coaches and volunteers; the execution of camps and/or clubs programs and sports initiatives; provide the administrative support necessary to carry out an Action Club and Camp program.
As an AIA staff, you will attend the bi-annual P2C Staff Conference and annual AIA Summit.
1. Assist in establishing and maintaining a schedule of Action Camps
Help to track current and past partnerships with churches and other organizations.
Coordinate with the Regional Director to implement all details involved in running a camp
Assist recruiting, hiring, training, mentoring and spiritual growth of volunteers and coaches.

Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, mentoring and spiritual growth of volunteers and coaches.
3. Increase the awareness and engagement of people and groups with AIA.
Attend local camp days, missions conferences, ministerial meetings, etc. to create connections and develop future partners/coaches
Help RD initiate fundraising opportunities in the Grand Prairie region to supplement coach and program budget needs.
Attend regional coaches training each June
Visit each week of camp for at least 1 full camp day per week
Be available during program operation for communication if needed
Maintain healthy communication/interaction with the Regional Director and other Alberta team members
Be in regular contact with coaches throughout the year to continue growing in relationship and encouraging their spiritual/ministry development
Be in regular contact with existing partners to continue growing in relationship and develop future opportunities to serve/grow together (camps, clubs, workshops, etc)
Network with Campus/Pro staff in the area to develop coaching pipelines and connect the greater AIA mission
You have university degree or equivalent (preferred, not required)
You have ministry experience in church, para-church and/or sports ministry (preferred, not required)
You have experience in coaching at some level of youth sport (minor associations, jr/sr high school, college/university)
You have a deep and growing relationship with Jesus and desire to continue to grow as a leader
You would be committed to Athletes in Actions’ leadership methods and ministry models
You have the ability to communicate effectively in a variety of ways (written, spoken, virtually)
You have administrative skills
You have a working knowledge of Google’s G Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, Docs, Sites)
You have an understanding of and passion for the athletic world and the integration of faith and sport
You have good time management, an ability to be flexible and willingness to take initiative
You have the ability to relate well to churches, para-church organizations, athletic organizations and administrators
You have the ability to lead others in areas of personal and spiritual development
